We welcome the Rev. Jill L. McNish, Ph.D. on September 18. She will be assisting at the Sunday liturgies on a part time basis. Jill graduated from Union Theological Seminary and was ordained in the Diocese of Newark in 1997 after a career practicing law. After serving parishes and teaching pastoral theology in New York and New Jersey, she came to the Diocese of Pennsylvania in 2011 and served for five years as rector of Saint Stephen’s, Clifton Heights.
Among other works she is the author of the highly regarded book, Transforming Shame: A Pastoral Response. Jill is the mother of two adult daughters who reside in New Jersey and the recent proud grandmother of baby Olivia. She resides in Haverford with her wife Clare Yellin.
