The annual parish retreat will take place on January 22-24. The deadline for registration, January 17, is fast approaching. You can download and read the Retreat Brochure, in PDF format, for a description of the retreat experience and costs. A downloadable copy of the Registration Form, in Microsoft Word format, is also attached.
The feast of The Epiphany, our parish’s second “name day” which falls on January 6, will be celebrated on Sunday, January 10, at 9 and 11 a.m. The word “epiphany” is Greek for “manifestation” and is traditionally associated with the appearance of a star in the East which the magi follow to the cradle of the infant Jesus. The theological meaning is that the saving life of Christ is intended as Good News for all the peoples of the earth. It is also a reminder of the role each of us is called to play in getting that Word out.
